Fertility Acupucture
Gentle, Compassionate Support for Your Journey to Conception
Trying to conceive can be one of the most tender and emotional seasons of your life. It can bring hope, excitement, uncertainty, grief, and everything in between. Whether you are just beginning, have been trying for some time, or are preparing for treatments like In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), I want you to know that you do not have to walk this path alone.
My role is to create a calm, supportive space where your body can feel safe, heard, and nurtured, a space where healing and possibility can unfold.

How I Support Fertility Naturally
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, fertility flourishes when the body is in balance and energy flows smoothly. When stress is reduced, circulation improves, and hormones regulate, the body is better able to conceive and sustain a healthy pregnancy.
Acupuncture may gently support your fertility by:
- Encouraging regular, healthy menstrual cycles
- Supporting ovulation
- Improving blood flow to the uterus and ovaries
- Helping balance reproductive hormones
- Reducing stress and calming the nervous system
- Creating a more receptive environment for implantation
Each treatment is designed to meet you exactly where you are, physically and emotionally.
If You Are Trying Naturally
If you are trying to conceive without medical intervention, I focus on strengthening your cycle, supporting egg quality, and helping your body find its natural rhythm. Ideally, I recommend beginning at least three months before actively trying, as this supports the full egg maturation cycle — but it is never too late to begin.
If You Are Undergoing IVF or IUI
If you are moving through assisted reproductive treatments, acupuncture can beautifully complement your medical care. I often support patients preparing for or undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) by helping regulate the body’s response to medication, improving circulation to the uterus, and calming the emotional intensity that often accompanies treatment cycles.
Many people find acupuncture especially comforting before and after embryo transfer, during the two-week wait, and in early pregnancy when everything can feel uncertain.
Holding the Emotional Side of Fertility
Fertility is not just physical, it touches every part of you. The waiting. The monthly cycles. The appointments. The quiet fears. The guarded hope.
One of the most powerful things I witness in my practice is how deeply the body responds when the nervous system is allowed to soften. Acupuncture helps shift you out of “fight or flight” and into a state of rest and repair, the state where healing and conception are more likely to occur.
Above all, I offer presence. I listen carefully. I tailor each treatment specifically to you. I honour your story.
A Personalized, Thoughtful Approach
During your initial consultation, I take time to understand your full health history, menstrual patterns, and any lab results you may have. From there, I create a personalized treatment plan aligned with your goals and your timeline.
There is no one-size-fits-all path to fertility. Your body is unique, and your care should be too.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you are longing for steady, compassionate support, someone who truly understands the emotional and physical layers of fertility, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
When you are ready, I invite you to book a fertility consultation and take the next gentle step toward growing your family.
Because it takes 3 months to fully complete an ovulation cycle, this is the time that can make the biggest impact on egg quality. Your body recruits these primordial follicles 3 months prior and then over the next 12 weeks, they will grow and mature until the best one is then chosen to ovulate and fertilize and become a healthy embryo. This is what 3 months working with me looks like…
Month 1 – Investigations
We start off by taking a full history of your overall health, and also your fertility journey so far. I look at all the tests you have had done up to now, like blood tests, hormone tests, partners sperm tests etc. I may ask for additional tests, like vaginal microbiome or Thyroid tests, or other tests we may need - depending on our initial findings. I also like you to start charting your temperature using a BBT chart and monitoring your cervical mucus. We will look at the length of your cycle, if and when you are ovulating, and other information we need to know. We will formulate a diet and lifestyle plan to support you and your fertility.
Month 2 – Treatments
Month two we continue with our weekly treatments but we can now use the results from the first months tests to further customize those treatments to reduce stress, improve your wellbeing, increase blood flow to nourish your eggs and uterine lining, improve the length and quality of your cycle to optimize and pinpoint your fertility window.
Month 3 – Consolidating
This is when you start to reap the rewards of your hard work in months 1 and 2. You will start to feel so much better. Your new diet and lifestyle changes, along with your acupuncture treatments will have you feeling less stressed, sleeping better, have a healthier cycle and feel more proactive in your health and fertility journey. Don’t forget, conceiving Is just the first step – you need to have a healthy mind and body to carry that pregnancy through to a healthy baby!
I would love to work with you to help support you on your fertility journey. Book a consultation with
me and we can discuss this further.
